ABOUT
Elizabeth Berger is a music educator and soprano, and is about to graduate from Westminster Choir College of Rider University.
Elizabeth graduates from WCC in May 2026 with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education.

Elizabeth is originally from Maryland but has spent the last four years in New Jersey while completing her degrees.

Within her classroom, Elizabeth strives to make music a space where students feel inspired, supported, and excited to participate. She believes music should be joyful, relevant, and accessible, while helping students build confidence, collaboration, and a personal connection to the art form.
Elizabeth is committed to shaping instruction around the students in front of her, recognizing that every child learns differently and brings unique experiences into the classroom. By blending varied teaching approaches, incorporating music from many cultures, and encouraging curiosity through singing, movement, performance, and creativity, she works to strengthen musical skills while nurturing self-expression. Elizabeth fosters a welcoming environment where students feel safe to take risks, learn from mistakes, and develop a lasting relationship with music that extends beyond the classroom.
In her free time, Elizabeth is an active reader, her favorite book is Jurassic Park, loves to paint and make crafts, and is a nanny in the summer for a family of four.
She enjoys trying new restaurants, going to live concerts, and shopping at thrift stores.

Elizabeth loves to perform in choirs and has spent the last two years singing with a church choir in Rumson, NJ. She values collaborative singing and the community that comes with it.
